A Nebraska woman who was granted parole after serving a prison term for deed theft was arrested for repeating the crime that put her behind bars – with the same property from her first arrest!
KNEB reports Londa Neal and her then-husband Barry ran afoul of the law in 2021 when they forged a quit claim deed on a property and attempted to sell it without the knowledge of the elderly homeowner. The couple were convicted of their crime in 2023 and went to prison.
Neal was paroled in March. Incredibly, her first action once gaining her freedom was to commit deed theft and sell the same property again, this time to a buyer from Alabama. And, again, the elderly homeowner told authorities the attempted sale was made without her knowledge.
Neal was arraigned on the charges of 2nd Degree Forgery, Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult, and Attempted Theft by Taking. Her bond was set at $25,000 at 10% and her preliminary hearing was set for May 9.
She represents a continued danger to the victim. Bond should have been denied.
Clearly, she’s telling people who she is. Listen.
She doesn’t learn? Execute her.
No excuse for stupidity. Lock her back up. SMH
