Funnyman Jim Carrey has grimly shaved $1 million off the listing price of his Los Angeles estate that has been repeatedly discounted since going on the market two years ago.

Mansion Global reports Carrey’s Brentwood property is now being priced at $18.75 million after a potential purchase deal fell apart. Carrey acquired the property in 1994 for $3.8 million and listed it in February 2023 for nearly $29 million, but a lack of buyer interest forced him to cut the price several times.

The property covers nearly two acres and includes a residence built in 1951 that spans over 10,000 square feet and features five bedrooms and an Art Deco-inspired theater. The property also includes a pool with a waterfall, a guest house, a tennis court, and a standalone structure dedicated to yoga and meditation.

Carrey acquired the home when his star was rising with hit films including “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” “Dumb and Dumber” and “The Mask.” He stated he was eager to sell because he no longer spends much time at the property.
