After living in his Beverly Hills estate for the last 66 years, singer-actor Pat Boone has listed the property for sale at $22 million.
The home, which spans 7,032 square feet and includes six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, was built in 1939. Mansion Global reports Boone bought the home in 1960 when he was hosting “The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom” variety series. Over the years, Boone hosted show business royalty including Elvis Presley, who joined Boone and his family on weekend visits at their pool.
Boone, who turned 92 earlier this month, had earlier listed the property in 2014 for $18.4 million, but later withdrew it from sale. Today, he declared it was finally time to downsize.
“I would probably do better in a smaller place here,” he said. “I don’t need a place this big, but I love it, and I still walk around and enjoy it all.”
