Home sales in Pennsylvania during March totaled 8,230 transactions, up 21% from 6,751 sales in February.

According to data from the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR), the number of homes listed in March was 32,761, up nearly 10% from February. The median sales price for residential properties last month was $285,000, up 2% from $279,000 in the previous month and up 5% from $224,757 in March 2025.

“We traditionally see the real estate market reflect renewed energy in the spring,” said PAR President Bill Lublin. “Many home sellers tend to list their properties in the spring when the weather is warm and the blooming landscapes show their homes in the best light. Motivated homebuyers often want to make a move in the spring or summer, which allows them to settle in their new homes before the next school year or other life events.”
