The Kansas City-based private investment firm Platform Ventures is rolling out a multifamily development unit focused on ground-up apartment development and construction.
In a statement, the company said it was pursuing this strategy because it “believes multifamily housing offers a blend of stability, income generation, and long-term growth potential, making the sector an attractive investment for investors seeking strong risk-adjusted returns.” Christopher N. Bennish, a former development partner at Price Development Group, was recruited to serve as managing director for this new strategic initiative, which will concentrate on markets across the Central, Southeast, and Southwest regions where Platform has residential investments.
