The NFL’s Denver Broncos are reportedly behind a series of 10 properties in an industrial section of the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, which is fueling talk that the team is planning to build a new stadium.

According to a BusinessDen report sourced from a single anonymous source who claims familiarity with the team’s real estate transactions, the properties were acquired by limited liability companies for $146 million in cash. The properties, which range from warehouses to vacant lots, are located near Burnham Yard, a state-owned former railroad juncture.

The Broncos have been based at Empower Field at Mile High since 2001. The team’s lease at its current stadium expires in 2031.

A Broncos spokesperson issued a statement regarding a potential new stadium that said, “As we’ve previously shared, we are involved in a comprehensive process regarding the future of our stadium. No determinations have been made as we continue to evaluate several options in and around the Denver metro area.”
