Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN, LEN.B) announced that Rick Beckwitt will retire as a co-CEO and co-president and resign as a member of the homebuilder’s board of directors.

Beckwitt joined Lennar in March 2006 as executive vice president and became president in 2011 and CEO in 2018; Jon Jaffe joined him as co-CEO and co-president two years later.

Beckwitt’s retirement will be effective Sept. 1. Stuart Miller, executive chairman of Lennar, will take on the additional role of co-CEO while Jaffe will continue as co-CEO and president.
