Raymond James Ltd., the Canadian arm of investment dealer Raymond James Financial Inc., has announced Robert Sutherland joined its equity capital markets team as managing director and head of real estate.
Sutherland will oversee and lead the real estate sector for the firm’s investment banking team in Canada. Sutherland over 25 years of experience in the real estate sector with the last 12 years focused on the capital markets. Prior to his new role, he was managing director of investment banking at Laurentian Bank Financial Group. Earlier in his career, he was managing director and head of real estate investment banking at Echelon Wealth Partners.
