Sara Burack, a real estate agent who gained prominence through her appearance on Netflix’s 2020 series “Million Dollar Beach House,” was killed on Thursday morning by a hit-and-run driver in the Hamptons.
The New York Post reports the 40-year-old Burack was found unconscious on a road by police yesterday at around 3:00 a.m. The driver has yet to be apprehended.
“Million Dollar Beach House” pitted real estate agents in a competition around luxury listings in the Hamptons. Burack was an agent with Nest Seekers International, representing upscale properties in Manhattan and the Hamptons. She left the agency over a year ago and was a high-profile volunteer in animal charities and the New York City chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Burack came into the profession through her family’s commercial construction and material sales business. In an interview connected to the Netflix series, she recalled, “I have always been intrigued by real estate projects and decided to become a broker after my experience as a summer property manager in the summer house I would rent.”
What a huge loss for the family. Our sincere sympathy to all and we pray for healing. May god give strength to the local police involved with the investigation to bring this driver to justice.
Such an incredible loss. She sounds like her heart was in the right place, helping others. Such a tragedy.
Very tragic!!! BLESS HER and condolences to her family!!
