To say that the U.S. housing market has been red hot over the past two years is an understatement. And this year, housing prices are expected to stay high.

The median home value is expected to jump from $355,000 to $384,000 in 2021, according to Fannie May.

Last December, home prices posted a yearly 18.8% gain nationwide, making it harder to find a good place to live. But if you’re looking to buy a house this year, don’t lose hope. You can still find some reasonably priced homes in the market!

The five states with the least expensive median listing price are West Virginia, Ohio, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, according to data from Realtor.com. Here are some houses currently up for sale in those states.
