SIOR Inducts Officers for 2025-2026 Term

The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the global commercial real estate organization for industrial and office brokers, inducted its 2025-2026 officers during its annual fall conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

Saadia Sheikh, CEO and founder of the Dallas- and New York City-based advisory firm Powersense, was named global president. Aaron Barnard, an office specialist in Minneapolis with Cushman & Wakefield, was named president-elect and will become the organization’s president in the fall of 2026.

Daniel Smolensky, was inducted as vice-president, and will serve as president-elect in 2026 and president in 2027. Smolensky is founder and principal of TMG Real Estate Advisors in Chicago. Mike Ohmes, 2024-2025 global president, begins a one-year term as immediate past president. Ohmes is managing principal at Frauenshuh Inc. in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Scott Savacool, a senior vice president at Colliers in St. Louis, will continue in his second year as SIOR global treasurer.
