Société immobilière Bélanger, a property management firm operating in the Quebec City area, has acquired a multifamily housing portfolio of 1,057 units across 39 buildings from Logisco for $143 million, its largest acquisition.

The properties are located on both sides of the St. Lawrence River and consist mainly of classic brick-and-wood buildings ranging from 20 to 25 units, with the largest complex comprising 70 units. This major transaction was financed through Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) loans.

Société immobilière Bélanger also announced it planned to expand real estate development in Quebec City, with its first construction projects launching this year. The company said it would be leveraging CMHC financing programs to create both affordable and energy-efficient housing.
