Anaheim, California-headquartered Carrington Mortgage Services LLC (CMS) has hired Steven Winokur as vice president of marketing and third-party origination.
Winokur was previous chief marketing officer for Angel Oak Lending, where he gained prominence for expanding the company’s presence in the non-QM market. Earlier in his career, he held vice president of marketing positions at Turning Point Strategies and Buyers Protection Group.
“Non-QM loans are a vital part of the loan mix for Carrington’s customers,” said Winokur. “We have a responsibility to make loans that are based on bank statements, and other non-W-2-related financial documents, available to ensure all Americans have an equal opportunity to achieve their dream of homeownership, or purchase investment properties to secure their financial future.”
