Survey: One-Third of Realtors Have Yet to Use AI Tools

Nearly one-third of real estate professionals have yet to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools, while only 20% use them daily, according to the 2025 Technology Survey published by the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

When survey respondents were asked about their AI tool usage, 20% said they use these tools on a daily basis, while 22% said their usage was weekly, and 27% used them a few times a month. And while 46% of respondents reported using AI-generated content (e.g., for listing descriptions), 32% said they have not yet used AI in their business.

Regarding the impact of AI on business, 17% of respondents reported a significantly positive impact, while 33% saw a moderately positive impact, and 46% said AI had no noticeable impact.

The top AI tools used by the realtors polled for the survey were ChatGPT by OpenAI (58%), Gemini by Google (20%), and Copilot by Microsoft (15%).
