One of the most frequently asked questions throughout today’s real estate brokerage ecosystem is: “Will technology replace real estate agents, and if so, when?” The answers vary greatly and usually end in a resounding not now…and not ever.
Correct Answer, Wrong Question
It’s a correct answer, but don’t be fooled into a false sense of security and safety. It’s the wrong question. The correct question is: “What will the role of the agent be like in the future?” Agents will not be replaced with technology, however, the role of the agent could be dramatically minimized if we don’t ask, answer and build solutions to prepare them for the future.
