The New York City-based law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges has hired Thomas Henry to co-chair its U.S. real estate practice.
Henry was previously co-managing partner and co-chair of the real estate department at Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s New York City office. In his new job, he will focus on advising domestic and foreign real estate companies, private equity funds, and institutional lenders and investors in acquisitions and dispositions, financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and leasing and development transactions involving all major real estate sectors.
Henry is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) and the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
