Two trade groups representing Texas real estate professionals, the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR) and Four Rivers Association of Realtors, have announced a strategic merger agreement.

SABOR represents more than 13,000 members across 13 counties in South Texas. Four Rivers was created in 2014 from the merger of three realtor groups and has over 1,500 members in five counties.

The membership of the two groups will vote to finalize the merger after details on governance structure, operational planning and finances are finalized. The merger will require the approval of the National Association of Realtors to become official.
