The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has installed Valérie Paquin as the chairperson of its 2025-2026 board of directors.

Paquin is a broker and co-owner of the Via Capitale Partenaires brokerage, which has nearly 130 realtors located in six offices in suburban Montreal. Paquin is joined on the board by fellow officers Garry Bhaura, president and broker of record at RE/MAX President Realty in Brampton, Ontario, as chairperson-elect; Darin Germyn, a director with the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board vice-chairperson; and James Mabey, James Mabey an Edmonton-based broker with Century 21 Masters, as the immediate past chairperson.
