Harmony Homes, the Las Vegas-based homebuilding division of The Rhodes Entities, announced the appointment of Gary Mayo as its new president.
Mayo comes to Harmony Homes after 27 years as group president at Toll Brothers, where he focused on delivering communities in Nevada, California, Idaho, and Utah. In his new role, Mayo will spearhead the development of two new large-scale residential projects – the development of 3,500 lots on over 2,200 acres on Blue Diamond Hill in Nevada, and a development in Golden Valley, Arizona with a first phase of 363 homes.
“I am excited to join the Rhodes entities, and to work alongside one of Las Vegas’s foremost individual developers, Jim Rhodes, as we develop his vision of creating the most exemplary communities in the Las Vegas Valley,” said Mayo. “I believe that Jim’s experience as a sub-contractor and developer having built over 44,500 homes, across 173 developments, in Clark County, combined with my experience at Toll Brothers, makes us an ideal match as we work together to bring these unparalleled developments to market.”
