In brief: Side has become the first brokerage to join HouseCanary’s Google Listings Program, making active listings from more than 600 partners across 19 states eligible to appear in Google mobile search results in supported markets.

HouseCanary announced the agreement October 20 at 10 a.m. Eastern. Side’s listings are supplied through My State MLS, which participates in the program. Searchers may see property details, brokerage attribution and a link to additional information and agent contact options.

New path to consumers

The agreement does not guarantee that every Side listing will appear in every Google search. Visibility depends on whether the program is live in the relevant market and on search results. The companies say participating Side agents will also receive complimentary access to HouseCanary’s AI property-intelligence tools.

The announcement adds a brokerage distribution relationship to HouseCanary’s existing MLS agreements, including the recently announced Arizona Regional MLS arrangement. That earlier agreement and today’s Side partnership are distinct events.

The change matters to real estate portals, brokerages and MLSs because it introduces another route for home shoppers to discover listings and reach agents. HouseCanary is also navigating Chapter 11 proceedings, a financial backdrop to the expansion rather than evidence that the program has stopped operating.
