South Florida developer Sergio Pino was found dead in his home in Coral Gables from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Tuesday morning after the FBI arrived to conduct a raid at the property. He was 67 years old.
According to a WPLG report, the FBI action was “connected to an ongoing murder-for-hire investigation” that Pino allegedly tried to coordinate against his estranged wife, Tatiana, who previously accused him of trying to poison her. The couple was in the midst of divorce proceedings when Tatiana Pino was the victim of a hit-and-run incident last August – four people were later arrested for the incident, including an employee for Sergio Pino.
Pino was the founder of Century Homebuilders Group, which the company’s website said was “one of the largest Hispanic Homebuilders in the nation.” Pino’s attorney Sam Rabin confirmed his client’s self-inflicted death and suggested law enforcement was responsible for his suicide. for ’s handling of the situation.
“Sergio Pino took his own life today,” he said. “The level of law enforcement activity at his residence was unprecedented and unnecessary, especially since we had offered to surrender him should that have become necessary. Today’s events mark a very tragic ending to an investigation that we were confident we could successfully defend. There were many rumors and allegations but what was lacking was evidence.”
Typical for the FBI. Nothing has changed.
Really? A man pre-meditatively murders his wife in cold blood and you blame the FBI?
Maybe he didn’t want to face the consequence? Some coincidence that people that did a hit and run on his wife, were associated with him.
Question is this:
Who gets the company ( since they were in the process of divorce? )
