ASC Global Inc., a Bradenton, Florida-based subsidiary of Token Communities (OTC: TKCM) announced it is moving forward with plans to build its APOZ Project (Asia Pacific Opportunity Zone), which is being promoted as the nation’s first solar town.

The APOZ Project is being planned for the Houston metro area, which the company noted enjoys more than 2,600 hours of qualified solar condition annually. The company added Texas offers multiple tax and utility incentive programs to help fund the endeavor.

The first portion of the development will encompass three 30-foot-high concrete wall industrial buildings (one 200,000-square-foot building and two at 100,000 square feet) to accommodate the business park management office and some of the recruited oversea companies that will set up operations in commercial properties at the site. A residential aspect of the project is also being planned.

In a statement, the company said it was in talks “with one of the largest solar panel manufacturers in the world,” adding the project should generate roughly 57.5 MW annually with $5.66 million per year in revenue.
