King Charles III has a new side hustle as the landlord for a short-term rental property.

The Sun reports that The Folly, a three-bedroom Victorian house at the royal Sandringham retreat, is being rented to the public for $8,500-a-week. The refurbished property has a naughty history as the love-nest of Edward VII, the monarch’s great-great-grandfather, and his actress lover Lillie Langtry.

Oliver’s Travels, the agency marketing the property, is promoting The Folly by declaring, “With input from the Sandringham team, The Folly honors its romantic past while embracing modern comfort. Period features – stone hearths, arched entryways, hand-finished floors – have been lovingly preserved. Throughout the house, royal artefacts from the private collection add depth and authenticity.”

Renters will also be able to explore the Sandringham Estate’s “meandering trails, formal gardens, and open meadows,” according to Oliver’s Travels. However, the royal landlord will not be stopping by to collect the rent.
