For the second time in five months, Rocket Mortgage, a division of Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT), is being sued because of overly aggressive telemarketing outreach.

The National Law Review reported a class action lawsuit was brought by Kellie Deits, an Arizona resident who claimed Detroit-headquartered Rocket Mortgage bombarded her with unwanted robocalls. Despite her request not to be contacted, Deits said the company called her at least 27 more times over the next 10 days. All of the calls came from the same number where she asked the caller to cease communications.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages on behalf of “hundreds” of other consumers who were allegedly on the receiving end of the company’s telemarketing overkill, a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Last June, a similar class action lawsuit was filed against Rocket in California – the consumers in that lawsuit said they registered their phone numbers with the National Do Not Call Registry and who never gave Rocket their contact data.
