The house where Jeff Bezos launched Amazon has been acquired.

According to Mansion Global, the 1,540-square-foot residence at 10704 NE 28th Street in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue, Washington, as listed last month at $2.29 million and is now being identified as a pending sale. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home last sold in 2019 for $1.52 million.

Bezos was reportedly renting the home for $890 a month in 1994 when he quit his senior vice president job at the hedge fund D.E. Shaw and used his garage as the office of Amazon, which was originally conceived as an online bookstore. The property’s listing said the home was “meticulously rebuilt” in 2001 – Amazon has its own recreation of Bezos’ original office at its headquarters.

Bezos stayed in the Seattle area until last November when he announced he was relocating to Miami. He also owns properties in Beverly Hills, Maui and Washington, D.C.
