Summary
The Loan Store has rebranded as Averra Financial effective Oct. 1, adopting a new identity after its expansion into one of the nation’s largest wholesale mortgage lenders while keeping broker programs, pricing and pipelines unchanged.
The Loan Store has changed its name to Averra Financial, giving one of the nation’s largest wholesale mortgage lenders a new identity after several years of rapid expansion.
The Tucson, Arizona-based company announced the change Oct. 1 and said the Averra name took effect immediately. The lender said its people, pricing, broker relationships and existing loan pipelines are not changing as part of the rebrand.
Wholesale platform keeps its broker focus
Averra said wholesale mortgage lending remains the foundation of the business. CEO Phil Shoemaker said the new identity reflects a company that has grown into a national platform built around speed, product depth, technology and partnerships with independent mortgage brokers.
The company’s expansion accelerated after The Loan Store acquired Homepoint’s wholesale origination business in 2023. The rebrand comes as wholesale lenders continue competing for broker relationships through product breadth, pricing, technology and service.
For mortgage brokers, the immediate operational message is continuity: Averra says existing account executives, programs, pricing and pipelines remain in place. The company is positioning the new brand as a platform for offering borrowers services beyond the mortgage transaction while retaining its broker-channel focus.
