TruAmerica Multifamily has acquired Pavilions, a 636-unit apartment community in Dallas’s Lake Highlands area, expanding its local portfolio to more than 2,400 units and pushing its reported 2026 acquisition volume above $1 billion.
The Los Angeles-based investment manager announced the acquisition October 21, 2026. The precise transaction closing date, purchase price and financing terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
The garden-style property consists of two adjacent apartment communities near Interstate 635. JLL’s property marketing materials identify the locations as Pavilions at Pebble View and Pavilions at Vantage Point, at 9001 Markville Drive and 9000 Vantage Point in Dallas. JLL lists the combined property at 636 units, built in 1998 on approximately 28 acres.
Renovations planned for Dallas property
TruAmerica plans improvements to apartments and common areas as part of a value-add investment strategy. The company described Lake Highlands as a supply-constrained submarket with access to employment centers and transportation connections.
JLL marketed the asset as offering potential returns from unit renovations and operational improvements. Those marketing projections are not guarantees of future performance.
The acquisition adds to TruAmerica’s existing Dallas holdings and marks another investment in established rental housing rather than new ground-up construction. The company says it has completed more than $1 billion of acquisitions this year; that is an aggregate acquisition-volume milestone, not the disclosed price of Pavilions.
