A superseding indictment has been brought against the Alexander brothers to include six victims, including an underage girl.

The New York Times reports Manhattan federal prosecutors filed the new indictment on Thursday against Oren and Tal Alexander – who were luxury real estate brokers at Douglas Elliman before starting their own firm Official in 2022 – and Oren’s twin Alon Alexander, an executive with the family’s private security firm. The brothers were previously indicted in December for allegedly sex trafficking two victims by force, fraud or coercion – the three were accused of trafficking one victim and Tal Alexander alone was accused of trafficking the second.

The new indictment claims one or more of the brothers engaged force, fraud or coercion to traffic the five women and the underage girl – none were identified by name in the indictment – with their alleged criminal behavior dating back to 2009.

The Alexanders pleaded not guilty to the initial charges and face arraignment on the new charges. Oren and Alon Alexander also face state sex trafficking charges in Florida and have both pleaded not guilty. Tal Alexander does not face state charges. The brothers also face civil lawsuits filed by 17 women.

The brothers’ defense lawyers rebuked the charges, with Oren Alexander’s lawyer Richard Lugh calling the new indictment a “fiasco of prosecutorial overreach.”
