A former Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) employee who was arrested for threatening to bomb the agency’s headquarters has continued to make unwanted contact with Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte.

Last March, Maria Del Carmen Lozano was arrested when she was driving to Freddie Mac headquarters in McLean, Virginia, while simultaneously conducting a video livestream to announce her plans to “blow everything up.” Lozano’s arrest was first reported by Breitbart News, which said she went on the grounds of the Freddie Mac complex before she was arrested for trespassing and making a bomb threat. She was released from custody two days after her release and reportedly made additional online threats to blow up the building.

Yesterday, Pulte wrote on his X page, “Recently, a fired Freddie Mac employee was arrested for threatening to blow up the building I was in at Freddie Mac. She was arraigned and her sentencing is next week. She has continued to contact me. I’d like to thank the Law Enforcement agencies for moving swiftly.”

Lozano was fired from her job prior to Pulte’s confirmation as FHFA director. Pulte offered no public comment when she was arrested in March, and his X posting was his first acknowledgment of the thwarted bombing. No additional details have been made public regarding the nature of Lozano’s contact with Pulte or if she has been taken back into custody.
