Summary
The Agency announced October 29 that it opened a Spokane, Washington office, its sixth in the state, led by managing partners Greg Link Jr. and Bobby Carmody. The two also lead the brokerage's Coeur d'Alene, Idaho operation. The company did not disclose office headcount or transaction targets.
The Agency has opened a brokerage in Spokane, extending the luxury real estate firm’s reach across eastern Washington and the neighboring Idaho market.
The company confirmed the opening October 29, naming Greg Link Jr. and Bobby Carmody as managing partners. Both also lead The Agency’s operation in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, giving the new office a leadership team already working on the other side of the state line.
Spokane becomes the firm’s sixth Washington location, joining Seattle, Bainbridge Island, Camano Island, Port Townsend and Vancouver. The new office is at 2818 North Sullivan Road, Suite 29, according to the company’s announcement.
One leadership team, two neighboring markets
Spokane and Coeur d’Alene serve overlapping buyers and sellers, including households moving within the Inland Northwest and clients comparing housing options across the Washington-Idaho border. The company is positioning the offices as a connected regional business rather than announcing a separate acquisition of a local brokerage.
The Agency did not provide the number of agents joining the Spokane office, its expected annual sales volume or the financial terms of the expansion. Its description of local housing demand is a marketing assessment, not an independently measured change in prices or sales.
Founded in 2011, the brokerage says it has more than 190 offices in 18 countries and has participated in over $104 billion in property transactions since its launch. Those figures describe the wider company and should not be attributed to the new Spokane branch.
Chief executive and founder Mauricio Umansky cited the region’s space and lifestyle as reasons for entering the market. For local agents, the immediate change is another brokerage affiliation option with a national and international referral network. Buyers and sellers will see whether that network produces more cross-market activity once the office builds its roster.
Spokane has already attracted investment in other parts of the housing market. WRE News recently covered a 210-unit workforce housing project built around a parking-to-housing conversion. That development is separate from The Agency’s opening, but illustrates the range of activity taking place in the city.
